Role: Sales Lead - Full-Time

Location: Delhi NCR, India

Role Overview Why This Role Exists:

Were hiring a Sales Lead to own revenue growth across direct sales, account management, enterprise opportunities, and sales-led partnerships.

This role is for someone who can build and manage a strong sales engine while also developing partner-led growth channels. The Sales Lead will drive prospecting, demos, proposals, follow-ups, closures, customer relationships, renewals, and account expansion.

Alongside direct selling, this person will also identify and manage partners who can accelerate global growth including country partners, enterprise partners, GTM agencies, outreach agencies, sales consultants, channel partners, referral partners, and business networks that can generate qualified leads, open enterprise doors, and support go-to-market execution.

The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, organized, proactive, comfortable with AI and SaaS products, and able to work closely with founders, customers, partners, and external agencies to turn market interest into measurable revenue.

What Youll Own Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Pipeline & Revenue Ownership:

- Own the sales pipeline across leads, prospects, demos, trials, proposals, negotiations, closures, renewals, and expansion opportunities.

- Ensure every opportunity has a clear stage, next step, decision-maker, use case, urgency, value potential, and follow-up plan.

- Convert interest into qualified meetings, qualified meetings into demos, demos into proposals, and proposals into paying customers.

- Maintain strong pipeline discipline so founders and leadership have clear visibility into active opportunities, blockers, and likely closures.

- Build a repeatable sales rhythm focused on revenue, accountability, speed, and quality execution.

2. Prospecting, Lead Generation & Outbound Sales:

- Identify and reach out to potential customers across startups, SMEs, agencies, consultants, enterprises, sales teams, marketing teams, customer success teams, founders, operators, and professional services firms.

- Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, websites, business directories, events, referrals, partner networks, associations, and other relevant sources.

- Run outbound campaigns through email, LinkedIn, calls, WhatsApp, referrals, warm introductions, and event follow-ups.

- Personalize outreach based on the prospects role, company, industry, workflow challenges, geography, and likely use case.

- Continuously test messaging, ICPs, hooks, follow-up sequences, and offers to improve response rates and qualified meeting volume.

3. Discovery Calls & Qualification:

- Lead discovery conversations to understand the prospects business, pain points, workflows, team structure, decision process, budget context, and success criteria.

- Qualify prospects based on use case fit, buying intent, urgency, team need, decision authority, budget, and conversion potential.

- Translate customer pain points into relevant solutions across knowledge bases, workflows, meeting intelligence, agents, automations, and structured business outputs.

- Document discovery notes clearly so demos, proposals, follow-ups, and internal discussions are based on real customer context.

- Avoid generic selling by focusing on the customers actual business needs and expected outcomes.

4. Product Demos & Consultative Selling:

- Deliver clear, confident, and use-case-driven demos to prospects and customers.

- Customize demos for different audiences such as founders, operators, sales teams, agencies, consultants, executives, enterprises, and business users.

- Explain in simple business language, focusing on outcomes such as saving time, reducing manual work, improving follow-ups, organizing knowledge, summarizing meetings, and helping teams execute faster.

- Demonstrate practical workflows relevant to the prospects needs, such as meeting summaries, follow-up emails, client reports, proposal drafts, account briefs, knowledge-base Q&A, and workflow automation.

- Ensure demos connect product capabilities to business value, not just feature walkthroughs.

5. Proposals, Follow-Ups & Deal Progression:

- Own timely follow-ups after every call, demo, meeting, inbound inquiry, event, or partner introduction.

- Prepare follow-up emails, demo recaps, pricing notes, proposal drafts, use-case documents, next-step summaries, and decision support material.

- Work with founders, product, finance, legal, and operations where needed for commercial proposals, enterprise discussions, custom pricing, contract inputs, or onboarding notes.

- Track blockers, decision timelines, stakeholder questions, budget concerns, procurement steps, and required actions.

- Ensure no strong opportunity is lost because of weak follow-up, unclear ownership, or poor documentation.

6. Account Management & Customer Success Support:

- Own relationships with assigned customers and accounts after conversion.

- Support customers with onboarding coordination, workspace setup guidance, use-case education, check-ins, renewal discussions, and expansion opportunities.

- Stay close to customers to understand adoption, usage, blockers, feedback, and additional business needs.

- Build trust by being responsive, professional, proactive, and commercially helpful.

- Help customers see the product as a long-term platform for improving workflows, productivity, and execution.

7. Renewals, Upsells & Account Expansion:

- Support renewals, plan upgrades, seat expansion, team adoption, additional use cases, and larger enterprise opportunities.

- Identify customers ready for higher usage, more users, premium plans, custom workflows, enterprise conversations, or implementation support.

- Track customer health signals such as usage, engagement, feedback, support needs, renewal timelines, and expansion potential.

- Build strong customer relationships so renewal and expansion discussions are value-led and natural.

- Work with founders and leadership on pricing, packaging, and account strategy for high-potential customers.

8. Sales-Led Partnerships & Channel Growth:

- Build and manage partnerships that directly support sales, qualified leads, demos, customer acquisition, enterprise access, or revenue growth.

- Identify and develop country partners, enterprise partners, channel partners, referral partners, resellers, sales consultants, business networks, and GTM partners.

- Create clear partner models with expectations around lead generation, introductions, demos, referrals, co-selling, territory focus, incentives, and reporting.

- Support partner-sourced opportunities from introduction to discovery, demo, proposal, conversion, onboarding, and account growth.

- Evaluate partners based on actual business outcomes qualified leads, pipeline, revenue, market access, and strategic value.

9. GTM Agency & Outreach Partner Coordination:

- Identify, onboard, and coordinate with external agencies that can support lead generation, outbound outreach, prospecting, market research, GTM execution, and regional expansion.

- Manage relationships with GTM agencies, outreach agencies, lead generation firms, sales development partners, and business development consultants.

- Set clear expectations around ICP, target accounts, messaging, outreach channels, qualification criteria, meeting quality, reporting, timelines, and conversion goals.

- Review agency-generated leads, campaign performance, meeting quality, prospect fit, response rates, and pipeline contribution.

- Ensure external agencies act as an extension of sales motion and do not create low-quality or scattered activity.

10. Country Partner & Global Market Development:

- Help identify and develop country-specific partners for priority international markets.

- Build relationships with regional business leaders, SaaS distributors, technology consultants, enterprise advisors, and local GTM partners.

- Evaluate country partners based on credibility, market access, sales capability, enterprise relationships, execution quality, and commercial potential.

- Coordinate regional outreach, pilot opportunities, demos, partner-led introductions, pricing discussions, and market feedback.

- Support global expansion through structured local and regional partner networks.

11. Inbound Lead Management:

- Manage inbound leads from website forms, demo requests, events, webinars, referrals, campaigns, social media, partners, GTM agencies, and founder introductions.

- Respond quickly and professionally to inbound inquiries while intent is high.

- Segment leads by quality, urgency, use case, role, company size, geography, source, and commercial potential.

- Guide each lead toward the right next step qualification, demo, nurture, proposal, handoff, or closure.

- Ensure every inbound lead is tracked, followed up, and properly documented.

12. CRM, Sales Operations & Reporting:

- Maintain accurate CRM records, lead trackers, account notes, deal stages, partner sources, follow-up dates, meeting notes, expected value, and next actions.

- Prepare weekly or monthly updates covering pipeline status, demos completed, qualified opportunities, partner-sourced leads, agency performance, deals progressed, closed customers, lost reasons, and key learnings.

- Track key sales metrics such as outreach volume, meeting bookings, demo conversion, proposal conversion, close rate, revenue, renewal opportunities, and partner-led pipeline.

- Improve sales templates, email sequences, demo scripts, proposal formats, trackers, reporting dashboards, and partner scorecards.

- Keep sales operations simple, disciplined, accurate, and useful for decision-making.

13. Sales Enablement & Partner Enablement:

- Work with founders, growth, content, product, and design teams to improve sales and partner materials.

- Support creation of pitch decks, one-pagers, demo scripts, proposal templates, objection-handling notes, FAQs, use-case briefs, comparison notes, onboarding guides, and account plans.

- Create partner enablement assets such as referral guides, partner briefs, reseller notes, country partner decks, agency onboarding documents, ICP notes, and outreach messaging guides.

- Use real sales and partner conversations to identify missing or unclear materials.

- Make it easier for prospects, customers, partners, and agencies to understand the product and take action.

14. Market Feedback & GTM Learning:

- Gather insights from prospects, customers, partners, agencies, and market conversations.

- Document common pain points, objections, buying triggers, pricing feedback, competitor mentions, feature requests, and regional market patterns.

- Share structured insights with founders, product, growth, marketing, and customer-facing teams.

- Help sharpen ICP, positioning, pricing, messaging, demos, onboarding, and partner strategy.

- Ensure the sales function becomes a consistent source of market intelligence, not just revenue activity.

15. AI-First Sales Operations:

- Use AI tools for prospect research, account preparation, outreach personalization, call summaries, follow-up emails, proposal drafting, objection handling, CRM updates, reporting, and partner briefs.

- Use AI to organize sales context, summarize calls, prepare follow-ups, create deal notes, analyze objections, and structure next steps.

- Build AI-assisted workflows that make prospecting, demos, follow-ups, reporting, partner management, and agency coordination faster and more consistent.

- Stay updated on modern AI, SaaS, CRM, sales automation, outreach, GTM, and productivity tools.

- Use AI as a productivity amplifier while maintaining strong judgment, personalization, accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership.

16. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Founders, Growth, Marketing, Product, Content, Customer Support, Finance, Legal, Operations, partners, and external agencies.

- Coordinate with growth and marketing teams to improve lead quality, campaign follow-ups, sales collateral, partner-led campaigns, and conversion paths.

- Share customer and partner feedback with product and support teams to improve onboarding, product experience, messaging, and adoption.

- Collaborate with external partners and agencies to ensure partner activity converts into qualified pipeline and revenue.

- Act as a revenue owner who connects customer needs, product value, partner distribution, and business growth.

Global Market Focus:

This role supports a global market-facing product. The Sales Lead must be able to sell, manage accounts, and build sales-led partnerships for both Indian and international markets.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable adapting sales messaging, demo narratives, partner propositions, pricing discussions, follow-up styles, and commercial communication for different regions, industries, cultures, and customer maturity levels.

The candidate should also be comfortable working with partners and agencies who can help expand into new geographies, generate qualified leads, support outbound outreach, and open enterprise opportunities globally.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

A bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications, Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with equivalent practical experience, strong sales ownership, commercial judgment, and hands-on experience in sales, account management, business development, SaaS sales, partnerships, channel sales, customer success, or GTM execution will also be considered.

Additional certifications or coursework in sales, business development, SaaS sales, account management, negotiation, CRM, partnerships, channel sales, enterprise sales, digital marketing, customer success, AI tools, analytics, or revenue operations will be considered a plus.

Must-Have Experience:

- 4- 8+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, SaaS sales, B2B sales, channel sales, partnerships, customer success, GTM execution, or similar commercial roles.

- Experience owning prospecting, discovery calls, demos, follow-ups, pipeline management, proposals, objection handling, closing support, account management, or revenue reporting.

- Experience selling or supporting sales for SaaS, AI tools, productivity platforms, digital products, B2B technology, business software, workflow tools, or enterprise solutions.

- Experience building or managing sales-led partnerships, channel partners, referral partners, resellers, country partners, agencies, consultants, business networks, or GTM partners will be strongly preferred.

- Experience coordinating with external agencies or partners for lead generation, outbound outreach, enterprise introductions, GTM campaigns, or regional expansion will be a strong advantage.

- Experience managing CRM records, lead trackers, sales pipelines, partner trackers, follow-up sequences, deal notes, customer accounts, agency reports, or revenue dashboards.

- Experience selling to founders, startups, agencies, consultants, SMEs, enterprises, sales teams, marketing teams, operators, customer success teams, or business users will be preferred.

- Experience in AI, SaaS, productivity, workflow automation, B2B technology, startup ecosystems, digital transformation, or GTM partnerships will be considered a plus.

Work Setup:

This is a full-time role based in Delhi NCR, India.

The role may require a hybrid or reporting-based work setup, depending on company requirements, meetings, customer needs, founder coordination, and business priorities.

The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with distributed collaboration across teams, customers, partners, agencies, and time zones.

The candidate must have a personal laptop, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to commute for work-related meetings, customer demos, partner meetings, agency coordination, events, and in-person requirements as needed.

The role may require local and international travel based on customer meetings, partner development, enterprise opportunities, events, market expansion, and other business requirements.

The candidate should also be comfortable working closely with founders, joining customer calls, supporting urgent sales priorities, attending external meetings or events, managing sensitive customer and partner information, coordinating with external agencies, and adapting quickly as company needs evolve.

Compensation:

- Competitive fixed salary based on experience, capability, and fit.
