Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Sales Head to lead the end-to-end business development function across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in IT services sales, a proven ability to manage strategic client relationships, and a successful track record of driving revenue growth across multiple geographies.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in achieving ambitious business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and implement the overall sales and growth strategy for both domestic (India) and international markets (US, UK, Europe, APAC).
- Identify emerging sectors, key accounts, and new business opportunities in IT services and digital transformation.
- Drive the organizations revenue goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with senior management to define quarterly and annual business plans.
Domestic & International Business Development:
- Build and expand relationships with enterprise and mid-market clients across industries in India and overseas.
- Manage and grow key accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Lead and oversee end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation and RFP/RFI responses to contract negotiation and closure.
- Engage in direct and channel sales, developing partnerships with IT consultants, solution providers, and resellers where applicable.
- Represent the organization at domestic and international events, conferences, and trade forums.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Establish strong relationships with CXOs, IT decision-makers, and procurement heads.
- Understand client business challenges and propose customized IT, Cloud, AI/ML, RPA, and Digital Transformation solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through continuous engagement and timely delivery coordination.
Team Leadership & Enablement:
- Lead and mentor a team of Pre-sales professionals.
- Define clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance metrics for the team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15-20 years of proven experience in IT sales and business development across domestic and international markets.
- Demonstrated success in managing enterprise and mid-market clients within India and overseas.
- Experience in both direct and channel sales models.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and familiarity with digital lead generation (LinkedIn, email campaigns, bidding portals).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast trends and prepare market strategies.
- Ability to lead multi-location teams and handle large accounts independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- Experience working with global and Indian clients across multiple sectors (BFSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, etc.).
- Prior leadership experience in scaling IT services sales operations.
