About the Role:
The company, a leading 1000 Cr cattle feed manufacturer with a strong presence in West India, is expanding Pan-India. The Sales Manager will be responsible for launching and developing new markets in Gujarat & Punjab, building distribution networks, driving sales, and establishing a strong regional footprint from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Gujarat & Punjab markets for cattle feed from ground zero.
- Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Drive farmer outreach, demos, activations, and field promotions.
- Build and manage a small field sales team as the business grows.
- Track competition, pricing, and market intelligence.
- Ensure product availability, distribution efficiency, and timely collections.
Candidate Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in cattle feed, dairy inputs, agri-inputs, fodder, or similar rural sales.
- Strong channel development and rural sales experience.
- Proven ability to build or scale new territories.
- Graduate in Agriculture/Veterinary preferred; MBA is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
