About the Role:
- We are seeking an accomplished General Manager - Bio Manufacturing Head (Injectables) to lead and scale our sterile injectable manufacturing operations.
- This is a critical leadership position for a technically strong and people-focused professional who can drive world-class manufacturing standards, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in a biologics/sterile environment.
- You will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing operations, building high-performing teams, and ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall manufacturing operations for biologics / injectable facilities.
- Ensure consistent delivery of production targets while meeting quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive cGMP compliance, data integrity, and audit readiness (regulatory and customer).
- Oversee aseptic processing, formulation, filling, lyophilization (if applicable), and packaging operations.
- Lead technology transfer, scale-up, and commercialization of new products.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Partner closely with Quality, Engineering, QA/QC, Supply Chain, EHS, and R&D teams.
- Develop and mentor senior manufacturing leaders and technical teams.
- Establish a strong culture of compliance, ownership, and operational discipline.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences or PhD.
- 20+ years of experience in biologics or sterile injectable manufacturing.
- Strong exposure to regulated markets and global regulatory expectations.
- Proven experience in leading large manufacturing teams and complex facilities.
- Solid understanding of aseptic operations, contamination control, and validation.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
