Role Description:

- This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Sales Manager, based in Pune.

- The role involves supporting the sales team in identifying and executing business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies.

- Responsibilities include managing client accounts, conducting market research, preparing sales reports, and assisting in the development of sales pitches and proposals.

- Additionally, the role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Strong skills in sales strategy development, market analysis, and business development.

- Experience in crafting sales pitches, customer relationship management, and account handling.

- Proficient in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently as needed.

- Knowledge of industrial packaging solutions and experience within relevant industries is advantageous.

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field; MBA is a plus.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales software is desirable.

- Proactive approach with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 3 years of B2B industrial sales experience.

- Strong exposure to new business development / hunting roles.

- Experience in packaging, chemicals, consumables, industrial or engineering products preferred.

- Comfortable with plant-level discussions and field sales.

- Strong solution-selling mindset with high ownership.

- Experience in VCI or corrosion protection products will be an added advantage.
