Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new markets, generating leads, building relationships, and driving revenue growth.
You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams to develop strategies that align with company goals.
This role requires excellent negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills, along with the ability to manage complex sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets.
- Develop and implement business development strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and market conditions to develop actionable insights.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Generate high-quality leads and build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos to showcase company solutions.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and negotiation.
Sales & Pipeline Management
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Build, track, and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with marketing teams to design campaigns and generate leads.
- Partner with product and technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Provide feedback on customer insights, market changes, and product gaps.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Prepare sales forecasts, business performance reports, and market analysis updates.
- Monitor KPIs related to conversion, revenue, client engagement, and retention.
- Identify risks and opportunities within key accounts and markets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and long-term relationship building.
- Experience negotiating high-value contracts and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
