Position Overview:

- We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer to manage legal aspects of real estate transactions, property development projects, and land-related matters in Maharashtra.

- The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Maharashtra land laws, RERA regulations, along with strong negotiation and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review and negotiate property-related agreements such as agreements for sale, development agreement, joint development agreements, sale deeds, conveyance deeds etc.).

- Draft, review and negotiate contracts/agreements related to the support functions of the Company.

- Conduct title due diligence, revenue record scrutiny, encumbrance checks and search reports.

- Ensure compliance with Maharashtra-specific real estate laws, including MLRC, RERA, MOFA and other applicable legislations.

- Handle RERA registrations, updates, and compliance filings.

- Identify legal risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.

- Provide opinions on property related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.

- Experience: 15+ years of hands-on real estate legal practice, preferably in Maharashtra.

- Prior experience in leading and managing teams.

- Strong knowledge of Maharashtra-specific property laws.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Background:

- Prior work experience in a reputed law firm, real estate company, or corporate legal department.
