Job Description:
- Defining 8-10 critical responsibilities associated with the job which account for ~80% of the bandwidth and effort of the job holder.
1 Driving Rural Channel Strategy:
- Drive the effective implementation of Rural Strategy to achieve topline, distribution and channel specific objectives across rural markets
- Devise monthly, quarterly plans to drive the business KPIs across rural markets in the region
- Plan and execute new product launches for the rural markets in timely and effective manner
2 Improving Channel performance:
- Devise plans to drive the distribution targets for rural markets in the region
- Customize the GTM, trade & activation plans for various rural markets, categories to unlock growth in reach and distribution
- Monitor the implementation and performance of promotions, campaigns to monitor & deliver ROI
- Devise specific channel plans for driving brand visibility, stimulate demand, and impacting growth, along with tracking ROI of such initiatives
- Drive strong commercial health for the region focusing on right indicators and taking corrective decision to improve commercial hygiene
3 Development of Distribution & Rural Selling Infrastructure:
- Devising and implementation of alternate Rural GTM strategy as per laid out framework
- Drive and monitor performance of the each of stockists and sub distributors and take corrective actions
- Enhance retention and growth of rural channel partenrs - provide support, conduct visits to address their needs
- Ensure availability access to merchandising, PoS materials to enable visibility, merchandising inputs
4 Market Intelligence:
- Monitor and track competition activity at the sub-distributor and retailer level in rural markets
- Gather market intelligence on rural consumer preferences, local market nuances - provide insights to develop effective rural channel strategies
5 Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and drive sales & distribution information at the sub distributor level to enable more informed decision making
- Analyze and report sales data for the rural channel in the region.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track market trends, and prepare channel review reports for management analysis
6 People and Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Collaborating across stakeholders of the branch and HO for driving sales revenue and identification of right and critical markets for the activations
- Facilitating all round development of the reporting and non reporting team
