We are looking for a skilled Area Sales Manager with strong experience in channel sales and distributor management.
The role involves driving business growth, supporting branch operations, managing partners, and ensuring effective market execution within the Coimbatore region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive regional business performance and support branches in achieving annual sales targets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with channel partners and distributors.
- Execute market mapping activities to identify new opportunities and improve area coverage.
- Deploy annual targets to distributors and partners; track and monitor market performance.
- Identify, appoint, and develop strategic distributors/partners to support business expansion.
- Analyze sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out data for effective inventory and sales planning.
- Address operational challenges and maintain harmony within the channel ecosystem.
- Ensure pricing discipline and share relevant market intelligence to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with factory/operations for stock indents, planning, and replenishment.
- Track and manage slow-moving stock and implement corrective actions.
- Take full ownership of business numbers for the assigned region.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Arts (any stream) or BBA.
- MBA is an added advantage (not required).
- 5-8 years of experience in channel sales and distributor management.
- Strong understanding of partner management, market operations, and sales analytics.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, drive results, and collaborate with internal teams.
