General Manager Accounts & Finance

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-12 years of progressive experience who can take complete ownership of the Finance & Accounts function, ensure financial discipline, and support strategic decision-making at the leadership level.

Requirement Details:

- Location: Ahmedabad

- Working Days: 6 Days a Week

- Compensation: Negotiable for the Right Candidate

- Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts

- Strong exposure in the finalisation of consolidated and standalone financials at multi country level including experience in consolidation, intercompany elimination and MIS preparation

- Experience handling foreign transactions preferred

- Sound knowledge of SAP

- Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Finalization:

- End-to-end finalization of books of accounts (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual)

- Preparation and review of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements

- Ensuring timely and accurate financial closure

- Preparation of MIS reports and variance analysis for management review

Direct & Indirect Taxation:

- Complete ownership of GST compliance, including filing, reconciliation & audits

- Handling Direct Tax matters, including Income Tax, TDS, Advance Tax, & preparing data for responses to various notices

- Tax planning and ensuring optimisation within the regulatory framework

- Managing departmental notices, assessments, and litigation matters

Statutory Audit & Compliance:

- Leading Statutory, Internal and Tax Audits

- Ensuring full compliance with the Companies Act and applicable financial regulations

- Maintaining proper documentation and audit trails

- Strengthening internal controls and financial governance systems

Financial Management & Fund Management:

- Budget preparation, forecasting and financial planning

- Cash flow monitoring and working capital management

- Fund allocation and utilization control

- Banking relationship management and handling credit facilities

Foreign Accounts & Regulatory Compliance:

- Managing foreign remittances and international transactions

- Compliance with FEMA guidelines and RBI regulations

- Forex accounting, reconciliation, and exposure monitoring

ERP & Process Control:

- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO preferred)

- Process improvements and automation initiatives

- Implementation and monitoring of SOPs across finance operations

Leadership & Team Management:

- Leading, mentoring and developing the Accounts & Finance team

- Setting departmental KPIs and ensuring performance accountability

- Building a compliance-driven and result-oriented finance function
