Transforming the Physical Store Experience

As the Retail Tech Enablement Lead, you will sit at the center of the "Phygital" revolution. Your mission is to scale and implement cutting-edge in-store technologies across a massive retail footprint. You will lead a high-performance team responsible for the successful adoption of mobile checkout platforms, endless aisle tools, and self-checkout kiosks. This is a cross-functional leadership role that blends operational execution, change management, and continuous optimization to ensure that digital tools become a seamless part of the daily store routine.

Strategic Responsibilities

1. Strategic Rollout & Program Management

Deployment Roadmap: Own the end-to-end planning and execution of technology rollouts. You will prioritize store clusters for onboarding based on business impact, technical readiness, and infrastructure maturity.

Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the primary bridge between Product, Engineering, and Business leadership. You will ensure that technical features are translated into operational reality at the store level.

2. Team Leadership & Empowerment

Scaling Talent: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Tech Adoption Specialists. You will set clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of extreme ownership and problem-solving.

Coaching Charter: Build specialized training programs to upskill your team on the latest retail AI tools and automation platforms.

3. Store Enablement & Adoption Oversight

Standardization: Develop and implement standardized onboarding processes to ensure that digital selling tools are adopted consistently across diverse regions and store formats.

Change Management: Serve as a change agent, managing stakeholder alignment at the store level and ensuring that store associates are empowered-not overwhelmed-by new technology.

Feedback Loops: Influence the Product Roadmap by collecting field-level insights and pain points, ensuring that the technology evolves to meet real-world store needs.

4. Performance Analytics & Strategy

Data-Driven Insights: Monitor key metrics such as tech adoption rates, store NPS, usage patterns, and error trends.

Continuous Optimization: Use data from tools like Looker or Tableau to drive strategy revisions, process improvements, and targeted training interventions.

Required Pedigree & Experience

Experience: 4-6 years in retail tech enablement, omnichannel implementation, or store operations. A minimum of 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role is mandatory.

Technical Depth: Strong understanding of in-store tech platforms (POS, mPOS, Order Management, and Inventory tools).

AI/Automation Savvy: Familiarity with AI-powered tools for training enablement, performance tracking, or productivity automation is a significant plus.

Leadership Grit: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving large-scale rollout programs in dynamic, distributed environments.

Key Skills & Toolset

Platforms: Deep familiarity with self-checkout hardware, touchscreen terminals, barcode scanners, and payment systems.

Collaboration: Mastery of Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, and project management tools.

Communication: Exceptional stakeholder alignment skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for field-level teams.
