Reliance Nippon Life Insurance - Litigation & Corporate Legal Counsel - LLB/LLM

The role demands deep expertise in commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, corporate legal advisory, insolvency matters, and white-collar crime. The ideal candidate will have experience representing multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals in high-value disputes and complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Litigation & Arbitration

- Represent clients in commercial disputes before Supreme Court, High Courts, District Courts, and NCLT.

- Handle arbitration (domestic and international)

- Draft pleadings, statements of claim/ defense, affidavits, and written submissions.

- Manage litigation involving in contracts, joint ventures, technology licensing, and construction disputes.

- Advise on cases involving breach of contract, corporate fraud, data privacy, and employment laws.

2. Corporate Advisory & Transactional Support

- Draft, review, and negotiate M&A, JV, and licensing agreements.

- Advise on restructuring, asset protection, and employment law matters.

- Support insolvency and bankruptcy resolution under IBC.

3. White-Collar Crime & Internal Investigations

- Represent clients before ED, CBI, and EOW.

- Handle cases of insider trading, criminal misappropriation, market manipulation, etc.

- Lead internal investigations related to whistleblower complaints and corporate fraud.

- Draft and manage legal proceedings for quashing FIRs, complaints, and summons.

4. Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement

- Liaise with regulatory bodies, debenture trustees, and corporate stakeholders across industries.

- Support senior management and boards with strategic legal advice and compliance insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

- LL.B. and LL.M. from reputed institutions

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline

- Additional qualifications in business or management preferred

Professional Experience:

- 5+ years in litigation, arbitration, corporate legal advisory, and white-collar crime

- Track record of handling high-stakes disputes and complex commercial transactions

- Experience advising MNCs and working on cross-border legal matters

Technical Skills & Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of commercial and corporate laws, IBC, and criminal statutes

- Strong drafting, litigation, and negotiation skills

- Familiarity with international arbitration practices and dispute resolution frameworks

- Excellent oral and written communication

- Multilingual abilities (English required; Hindi/Marathi/regional languages advantageous)
