The Manufacturing HR Manager will lead end-to-end HR operations for the plant and manufacturing workforce, with strong focus on Industrial Relations (IR), Union Management, Long-Term Settlements (LTS), statutory compliance, workforce productivity, employee engagement, and plant HR governance. The role requires deep exposure to FMCG manufacturing environments with large blue-collar workforce management experience.

Support Greenfield and Brownfield plant setup initiatives including manpower planning, policy implementation, workforce mobilization, and culture building

A. Industrial Relations & Union Management

- Maintain healthy industrial relations climate across manufacturing units.

- Lead and manage relationships with labor unions and worker representatives.

- Handle union negotiations, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution.

- Drive Long-Term Settlement (LTS) discussions, negotiations, and implementation.

- Ensure proactive IR risk assessment and mitigation to avoid disruptions in plant operations.

B. Plant HR Operations

- Manage complete HR operations for plant employees including workers, staff, and contract manpower.

- Ensure manpower planning and workforce optimization aligned with production targets.

- Oversee attendance, shift management, overtime governance, leave administration, and payroll coordination.

C. Compliance & Statutory Management

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and factory regulations.

- Manage compliance related to:

- Factories Act

- Industrial Disputes Act

- Union

Experience :

- 10-18 years of HR experience in manufacturing setup

- Minimum 5+ years in FMCG / food / consumer goods manufacturing plants

Strong hands-on experience in :

- Union handling

- Industrial Relations

- Long-Term Settlements (LTS)

- Factory HR operations

- Statutory compliance
