Job Purpose:
Responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing the SME / Business Banking portfolio with a primary focus on Working Capital products. Ensure client satisfaction, portfolio quality, and profitability while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new SME / MSME clients primarily for Working Capital facilities (CC/OD, Packing Credit, Bill Discounting, Export Finance, Trade Finance, etc.)
- Conduct detailed assessment of client's financials, cash flows, and working capital cycle to structure suitable credit solutions.
- Prepare and present credit proposals for sanction, liaising with credit teams for timely approvals.
- Manage existing client relationships to ensure timely renewal, limit utilization, and cross-sell of other banking products.
- Monitor account performance, assess early warning signals, and proactively address portfolio risks.
- Achieve business targets related to Working Capital disbursements, income, and client acquisition.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and KYC/AML norms.
- Build strong internal networks with credit, risk, operations, and legal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Working Capital financing.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit appraisal.
- Good understanding of Trade Finance and Treasury products.
- Excellent client acquisition, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong risk assessment and portfolio monitoring abilities.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements.
