Project Manager

Currently there is an opening with a leading global MNC for a Regulatory Manager based in Delhi. Below are the details for your reference Responsible for: - Executing activities to ensure regulatory compliance in the market. - Developing and implementing processes, tools, policies and strategies to ensure efficient delivery of regulatory activities. - Work with business to provide regulatory expertise that not only enables the business to implement their strategy but provides direction. Partner the business to leverage best practices for competitive advantage. - Manage one team member at least and supervisor others locally as required to deliver needed outcomes. Key activities: - Act as the subject matter expert in India and the Sub-region for regulatory issues. For example: - maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, including proposed new developments - Communicate regulatory information to multiple departments and ensure that information is interpreted correctly. - Provide regulatory guidance to the local business or global teams regarding design, development, evaluation, and marketing of products. - Ensure timely registration and renewal of products used in F&B, Health Care and Institutional settings e.g. hand care, disinfectants, medical devices. Responsible for preparation and submission of regulatory agency applications, reports and correspondence. Closely monitor and manage timelines for regulatory registrations /submissions and proactively communicate these timelines clearly to relevant stakeholders (Market Head, RA Manager, Marketing teams). - Lead India REACH to comply with the local regulations and support portfolio optimization. - Work with the business to meet customer needs and respond to customer queries, including tender documents and customer questionnaires. - Represent company in engaging and interacting with local regulatory authorities including but not limited to state FDAs, CDSCO and FSSAI . An important aspect of this role is to establish and maintain good relationships with regulatory authorities and industry associations, ensuring that product registration proceeds smoothly, while boosting Company's image in the industry. Basic Qualifications: - University degree in Science/ Chemical Engineering/ Environmental Studies/ Pharmacy/ Food Safety/ Government Affairs with 10+ years professional experience. - Strong working knowledge of regulations and regulatory landscape for chemicals in India. Experience working on product registrations/submissions and government liaison work is preferred. - Proven project management, communication and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated success coordinating activities with internal businesses and external customers or business partners - Good written and verbal communication skills, including in English - Able to partner effectively in a cross-cultural matrix organization - Drive for results, Business and customer-orientated Independence Level: - Acts independently under limited direction, highly organized and with a sense of urgency. - Strong interpersonal skills, as collaboration and communication with both internal and external stakeholders is key in this role. - Manages own project portfolio independently to ensure proper prioritization of activities - May act as lead on medium to large projects. - Expected to identify areas of risk and/or opportunity to implement market access strategies - Interface with functional and divisional unit management to ensure compliance
