Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Training Manager to drive capability development across distribution channels and clients within the assigned region.
The role involves identifying training needs aligned to business objectives, delivering impactful learning interventions, managing external trainers, and ensuring regulatory certification compliance.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales & Distribution teams to enhance productivity, knowledge, and performance across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess business requirements and identify region-specific training needs across distribution segments and clients
- Plan and deliver training programs for distributor sales teams and channel partners across the region
- Empanel, manage, and evaluate external trainers to ensure quality and consistency in training delivery
- Drive regulatory certifications such as AMFI/NISM, ensuring timely completion and compliance
- Develop and customize training content aligned to business goals, product updates, and regulatory changes
- Manage end-to-end training lifecycle including planning, scheduling, execution, tracking, and reporting
- Partner with Sales & Distribution (S&D) teams to support capability-building and non-training business initiatives
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal coverage and training impact across the region
- Foster a strong learning culture and act as a strategic partner to regional leadership
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in Regional Training / Training Management within Financial Services
- Understanding of Distributor Sales and B2B Sales models
- Knowledge of investment products, BFSI domain, and regulatory frameworks
- Experience driving AMFI/NISM certifications and compliance initiatives
