Job Position: Regional Sales Manager (OEM)
Location: New Delhi
Job Role: As a customer centric company, Orbit puts customers at the centre stage of all its activities. Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in the companys initiatives to forge a long term, mutually interdependent relationship with the companys key accounts in the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gain a thorough understanding of customers current and future requirements for the companys products.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen companys business with its customers , be responsible for generating leads and RFQ, submission of companys qualitative offers and business proposals to customers, strategizing and supporting the follow up and negotiation process with the customers and ensuring successful businesses acquisition for the company.
- Maintain close contacts and act as a valuable link between the customers R& D organizations and Orbit R& D . Ensure that the company participates at an early stage of development in the new projects of the customer.
- Obtain a clear understanding of all application conditions and performance expectations for new customer projects.
- Achieve budgeted sales target. Improve Orbits share of business with key accounts and increase its product content per customer application.
- Negotiate contacts on the behalf of the company and ensure its successful performance.
- Provide qualitative sales forecast for the assigned markets to help the company ensure 100% delivery performance to its customers.

- Collect timely and accurate feedback from the customers on Orbits performance and concerns on Quality and Delivery . Coordinate with relevant functions at Orbit to ensure effective resolution of these concerns.
- Gain and provide valuable insights on developments in the market and competitor activities,
- Be responsible for In-warding and payment collection targets.
Education:
Must: Graduate in Engineering
And: Post Graduate qualification in Management preferred not essential
Skills:
- Engineering mindset
- Good communication, persuasive and negotiation skills, goal oriented
- High energy , enthusiasm , go getter skills and a team person.
- Willingness to travel extensively,
Experience:
- Some experience in Industrial markets preferred. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the position of Manager/ Assistant Manager Sales.
Reporting:
To: The position reports to Head of Marketing
Support: The incumbent will initially operate from home . Over a period of year , you may need to build a small team of 2 Application Engineers and Sales Engineers to strengthen the team.
