Role Overview:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will serve as the strategic architect for our market presence, driving top-line growth and market share expansion across the assigned territory. You will lead high-performing sales teams, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders including supply chain, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless execution of our go-to-market strategy. By managing complex channel relationships and key accounts, you will directly influence our competitive positioning and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Oversee the full P&L of the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost management to drive bottom-line profitability.
- Spearhead channel management initiatives by strengthening distributor networks and ensuring high-quality retail execution across all touchpoints.
- Manage high-value key accounts, negotiating long-term partnerships that secure shelf space and enhance brand visibility.
- Drive accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with supply chain teams to minimize stock-outs and optimize working capital.
- Mentor and develop a diverse team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale FMCG operations, with a proven track record of scaling businesses in competitive markets.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex market data into actionable business insights for accurate forecasting and strategic planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, negotiate with external partners, and lead large, dispersed teams effectively.
- Deep understanding of modern trade and general trade dynamics, coupled with the ability to navigate complex retail ecosystems.
- A postgraduate degree in Management from a premier business school is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in business strategy and financial acumen.
- High adaptability to a dynamic work environment, with the ability to manage regional operations effectively from our Gurgaon office while maintaining a hands-on approach to field-level execution.
