Description:
Location: Lower Parel.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and distribution
objectives in the Maharashtra region.
- Forecast, monitor, and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Team Leadership & Channel Development:
- Lead, train, and motivate Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and distributor teams.
- Ensure effective secondary sales drive, retail coverage, and promoter productivity.
- Build and manage a strong distribution network across general trade, modern trade, and beauty/cosmetic channels.
Market & Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities, appoint new distributors/stockists, and expand retail penetration.
- Strengthen brand presence through trade promotions, merchandising, and visibility initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to the management.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure efficient sales operations, credit control, and timely collections.
- Conduct regular market visits to review performance, resolve issues, and build strong trade relationships.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and reporting systems.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/MBA preferred with 1012 years of proven sales experience in Cosmetics / Personal Care / FMCG sector.
- Strong exposure to Maharashtra market with deep knowledge of regional distribution and
retail dynamics.
- Experience in handling a team of ASMs/TSOs and managing large distributor networks.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive sales growth in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.
