Regional Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare & Drive Sales plan for the region in collaboration with NSM on annual basis to achieve business objectives
- Identify potential growth & problem areas at zonal level and plan initiatives to improve the sales & market share
- Identify the market share gain opportunities/challenges. Accordingly, plan actions to grow as well as defend market share in collaboration with NSM and BM
- Work with NSM to plan for market development activities comprising of Business priorities, Market Share Gaining activities, Focused Products and Low Base & Low Growth Markets
- Identify new opportunity areas at zonal and leverage them by taking suitable actions and sharing them with the division leadership team on
- New Product Opportunities
- Range extension/ SKU addition
- Support the BMs in improvement of low performing/scoring front line executives
- Lead New Product launch in the region and meet new product launch objectives
- Ensure effective planning & execution of schemes to achieve desired objectives
- Monitor Execution and Effectiveness of schemes in the market
- Identify new avenues in the region and service them either through to distributors or direct appointment
- Responsible for selection, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining sales employees in his region
- Review, maintain and improve sales & productivity of team and channel partner against the target on a monthly basis
- Must have Good Negotiation Skills, Analytical Skills and Business Acumen
- Encourage channel partners to conduct dealer meet to generate demand
- Ensure sales to damage ratio is as per the norms
Education & Experience:
- MBA in Sales & Marketing
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in related industry
- Excellent Business Acumen, Effective Planning, Customer Focus
- Leveraging Human Potential, Strategic Business Orientation
- Drive for results
