Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Regional Sales Head North to lead and grow our business footprint across Northern India. This role is responsible for driving revenue, acquiring new enterprise customers, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing regional sales team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, telecom expertise, and a proven track record in regional P&L and B2B market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Sales Leadership
- Define and execute the North regions sales strategy in line with national objectives
- Drive aggressive revenue and customer acquisition targets across enterprise, SMB, and channel segments
- Track performance metrics and implement growth-focused initiatives in underpenetrated areas
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Channel Partners
- Foster a performance-driven culture with strong sales governance and goal alignment
- Conduct regular reviews, forecast sessions, and field coaching
Key Account Development
- Build and nurture relationships with CXOs and decision-makers in key enterprises, government bodies, and large corporates
- Oversee end-to-end large deal pursuit including proposal, pricing, negotiation, and contract closure
- Drive upsell and cross-sell of telecom solutions including connectivity, mobility, IoT, and managed services
Partner & Channel Strategy
- Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners and system integrators across the region
- Collaborate on go-to-market plans, joint selling initiatives, and incentive programs
- Track partner productivity and optimize coverage
Operational Excellence
- Ensure pipeline health and forecast accuracy through CRM hygiene and reporting discipline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Service Delivery, Finance, Legal, Regulatory) for seamless execution
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and commercial guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 10 -15+ years of B2B sales experience in the telecom, ISP, enterprise tech, or networking domain
- Minimum 5 years of regional team leadership experience with multi-location coverage
- Strong knowledge of enterprise telecom products, customer buying cycles, and government/PSU procurement processes
- Demonstrated success in managing large accounts, closing complex deals, and delivering on regional targets
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is a plus
- Willingness to travel extensively across the North region
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to integrated telecom solution selling (Fiber, MPLS, VPN, VoIP, IoT, SD-WAN, etc.)
- Experience dealing with large public/private sector clients and government departments
- Hands-on approach to channel transformation and enterprise onboarding
