Regional Sales Director
We are seeking a highly accomplished Regional Account Director with deep experience in technology sales and account management, focusing on large Indian enterprises. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in closing multi-million dollar deals and building long-term executive relationships. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in IT services, ERP transformations, Data/AI, Mobility, Customer Experience, and Strategic Outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across the assigned region by managing and expanding relationships with large Indian enterprise accounts, particularly in the BFS (Banking, Financial Services) domain.
- Identify, develop, and close large, complex deals in areas such as ERP transformation, Data/AI, Mobility, Customer Experience, and Strategic Outsourcing.
- Serve as the primary executive-level point of contact for clients, building trust and long-term relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with the clients business objectives and the organizations growth goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including pre-sales, delivery, solutions, and marketing to drive successful deal closures and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the regional market, competitive landscape, and emerging technology trends to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on complex technology and business solutions to clients.
- Monitor account performance, track metrics, and ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 to 20 years of overall technology sales experience, with a minimum of 68 years in IT services sales.
- Proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals with large Indian enterprises.
- Extensive experience in account management and strategic client engagement.
- Deep expertise in ERP transformation, Data/AI, Mobility, Customer Experience, and Strategic Outsourcing.
- Strong knowledge of the BFS domain and enterprise technology landscape in India.
- Established network of CXO and OEM relationships in the region.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to achieve results.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a consulting-led technology organization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret client business needs to design impactful solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large, complex client engagements.
