
Job Description- Senior / Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Industry: Housing Finance NBFC (HFC) - India
Experience: 10+ Years | Location: Mumbai | Reports To: Head-HR / CHRO
Role Purpose
Lead the HR function for West India, partnering with business leaders across Sales, Credit, Operations, and Collections to drive productivity, talent strength, compliance, and employee engagement in a branch-led housing finance business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner with Regional Business Heads to align HR strategy with loan growth, branch expansion, and productivity goals.
- Provide people insights and workforce analytics for decision-making.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Ensure timely hiring for RMs, BMs, Credit, Technical/Legal roles, and Collections.
- Manage regional manpower planning, hiring SLAs, and attrition hotspots.
3. Performance Management & Capability Building
- Drive goal-setting, reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Coach managers; manage PIPs where required.
- Identify capability gaps and facilitate training in sales, credit & compliance.
4. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and field-force people issues.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, POSH, PF/ESIC, and regional audits.
- Conduct branch visits to assess HR hygiene, attendance, and engagement.
5. Engagement, Culture & Retention
- Run regional engagement forums, R&R programs, communication sessions.
- Strengthen culture of integrity, performance, compliance & customer orientation.
- Implement retention plans for high performers and critical roles.
6. HR Operations & Reporting
- Oversee HRMS data accuracy, transfers, attendance, documentation.
- Publish HR dashboards (attrition, hiring, productivity, HR cost).
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR / Business Administration.
- 10+ years HRBP / HR Generalist experience, preferably in NBFC/HFC/Banking.
- Experience managing multi-branch, field-intensive teams and regional responsibilities.
