Job role - Regional head (Retail Branch banking)

Candidate must be from Tamil Nadu , Chennai ,Coimbatore, Erode And Vellore

Location - Tamil Nadu , Chennai ,Coimbatore, Erode And Vellore

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Growth

- Develop and implement state-level strategies for business growth across liabilities, assets, and third-party products.

- Drive new customer acquisition across retail and SME segments.

- Ensure achievement of sales and revenue targets by branches.

2. Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cluster Heads/Branch Managers.

- Build a strong performance-driven culture through training, coaching, and goal alignment.

- Ensure effective succession planning and leadership development.

3. Proven experience in the banking industry, particularly in branch management and retail banking.

4. Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business growth targets for retail banking products and services within the region.

5. Identifying market opportunities, analyzing customer needs, and tailoring branch offerings to meet local demands.

6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing risk management procedures.

7. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including branch staff, customers, and local authorities.

Participating in the planning and execution of new branch setups within the region.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Retail Branch Banking.

- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Cluster/Area/Zonal Manager).

- Strong understanding of banking products, regulatory environment, and local market dynamics.

- Must be currently working as Regional Head / Cluster Head in any leading bank.

- Strong track record in business development, team management, and branch operations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

- Preference for local candidates with strong regional market understanding.
