Job description : - In charge of the overall sales and distribution for the assigned States - Implement the organizational policies procedures, and ensure adherence by all zonal team members - Respect the mission, vision and values of the company and effectively communicate the same to the Zonal sales team - To attain proper product mixes for the area and thereby contribute maximum towards organization profits. - To ensure absolute implementation of company strategies by team in the field - To make sure of complete coverage of existing customers and better customer service - Forecast accurately and evolve monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan. - Ensure effective implementation of the sales management system - Monitor performance of the sales team and guide them to achieve their targets. - Review daily sales reports, conduct / attend periodical sales review meetings and correct the situations then and there. - Study and analyse consumer responses and recognize their needs and expectations - Study competitor activities in the market and offer inputs / suggestions to corporate to win over competition. - Suggest potential secondary and consumer schemes to corporate and effectively administer the approved schemes to maximize sales - Ensure effective implementation of BTL activities and increase brand awareness in the market - Ensure healthy relations with stockiest / retailers and gain their good will and support - Strategically work towards establishing / sustaining the leadership in the market - Train the Sales officers and field officers in line with the business strategies and ensure superior performance - Execute day to day administrative activities of the branch and maintain protocols - Plan manpower as per distribution requirements and ensure recruitment of the right candidates on time as per the plan.
