Technical Manager Job Description: Educational Qualification : PGDBA (Operations), BE (Chemical Engineering) , B.Tech Chemical Job Location : Sitarganj, Uttarakhand Key Responsibilities: 1. To implement Reckitt Technology Transfer Process and to ensure that robust reproducible and efficient manufacturing processes are transferred into production from R&D, contract manufacturers or other Reckitt sites 2. To execute Technology transfer of NPD/EPD projects as assigned 3. To review and authorize Technology Transfer related documents: 4. Project activity for Exports. 5. Risk and capability assessment at each stage of the project. 6. Assessment for material requirements: 7. Leads the activity management for new Technology transfer Projects at site and ensure that all the projects are managed to completion and to the agreed timeline. 8. Responsible for Engineering/ Stretch study (if applicable) and process validation batches processing of technology transfer projects, execution of technology transfer activities. 9. Responsible to ensure GMP compliance in the Tech. Transfer documents. 10. To perform process technology development to achieve strategic imperatives and improve cost effectiveness. 11. Responsible for cleaning validation of new/existing products, wherever required. 12. Periodic review of SOP of Technical. 13. To implement process development and improvement in the areas of cost, quality, and customer service 14. To continuously review manufacturing processes in the Sitarganj site and at contract manufacturers to determine the most cost-effective supply strategy 15. Management of projects within budgets and deadlines to ensure implementation of supply/technical strategy 16. To ensure that the company's strategic imperatives as they relate to the Technical Department are implemented 17. To deliver to RB core values during project execution. 18. Manages and sources data to make appropriate decisions 19. Analyses and structures data to support decision making 20. Develops different options and challenges data before making decisions 21. Scales up manufacturing methods to deliver processes with high capability 22. Manages several activities within an NPD project 23. Implements opportunities that provide cost reduction. 24. Manages tasks to support cross functional cost reduction initiatives 25. Implements processes and targets which support the achievement of quality standards Environment Standard Roles & Responsibilities: - Understand all Env & Safety standards requirement of Reckitt & Participate in relevant trainings to achieve working knowledge w.r.t Env & Safety standards. - Include requirement of Env & Safety standards while developing or reviewing respective area operational SOPs. - Identify and Understand Environmental Risks related to the profile of job role. - Awareness of the environment's legal norms for the job role assigned. Report, investigate environment & Safety Incidents to identify CAPA. - Provide Guidance to team members on implementation of Env & Safety standard implementation and highlight requirement of resources required.
