
Role Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to support advisory, transactional, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions in India.
- The role involves handling RERA compliance, property transactions, commercial contracts, and consumer-related matters, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external parties.
- This position is ideal for legal professionals with a strong grounding in property laws and regulatory frameworks, and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Real Estate & Regulatory Matters:
- Advise on and handle matters under RERA - The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, including registrations, compliance, and disputes.
- Interpret and apply state-specific real estate rules and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support real estate development, leasing, and acquisition matters from a legal standpoint.
Property & Transactional Advisory:
- Handle matters under the Transfer of Property Act, including title review, conveyancing, and transaction structuring.
- Review, draft, and negotiate sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, joint development agreements, and ancillary property documents.
- Conduct legal due diligence for property transactions.
Commercial & Consumer Laws:
- Draft and review contracts under the Indian Contract Act, including commercial and transactional agreements.
- Handle matters under the Consumer Protection Act, including advisory and dispute support related to real estate projects.
Drafting, Opinions & Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare legal opinions, advisory notes, and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with business teams, consultants, authorities, and external counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Support dispute resolution and litigation strategy in coordination with external counsels.
What We're Looking For:
- LLB graduate (Batch 2015-2022) from a recognized university.
- Strong working knowledge of RERA, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, and Consumer Protection Act.
- Proven expertise in drafting, advisory, and transaction document review.
- Ability to interpret statutes and apply them to real-world commercial scenarios.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience handling multi-state real estate matters is a plus.
