LOCATION-UGANDA-EAST AFRICA Operations Management: - Plan, organize, and oversee all quarry operations related to the crusher plant. - Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and quality specifications. - Implement efficient processes to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Safety and Compliance: - Enforce and promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. - Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for quarry staff. - Maintain environmental compliance and ensure responsible quarrying practices. Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate a diverse team of quarry personnel, including supervisors, equipment operators, and maintenance staff. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement. Equipment Management: - Oversee the maintenance and repair of all quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, loaders, and other machinery. - Coordinate with the maintenance team to implement preventative maintenance programs. Budget Management: - Develop and manage budgets for quarry operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. - Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. - Proven experience (X+ years) in quarry management, with a focus on crusher plant operations. - Strong knowledge of aggregate production processes, crushing, and screening. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations. - Proficient in using quarry management software and MS Office.
