Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-velocity Sales Manager in Mumbai to lead the expansion of our Application Development practice. This is a dedicated "Hunter" role designed for a professional who can navigate the C-suite-specifically CTOs, CEOs, and COOs-to sell complex custom software solutions, Salesforce (SFDC) and Liferay platforms.
- New Business Origination: Drive the end-to-end sales lifecycle for Application Development services, focusing on Java, .NET, Python, SFDC, and Liferay ecosystems.
- Solution Orchestration: Partner with technical architects to translate business problems into scoped software solutions, high-impact proposals, and RFP responses.
- Pipeline Management: Proactively manage a robust sales funnel, ensuring consistent lead generation, qualification, and successful deal closure.
- Market Positioning: Stay at the forefront of software engineering trends to act as a strategic advisor to clients rather than a transactional vendor.
- Experience: 6-10 years of aggressive B2B sales experience strictly within Application Development or Software Services; profiles with a primary focus on infrastructure support or hardware will not be considered.
- Track Record: Proven history of meeting individual sales targets and the ability to articulate technical value to both business (CEO/COO) and technical (CTO) stakeholders.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern technology stacks (Java, .NET, Python, or enterprise platforms).
