Propel Industries - Senior Manager - Costing/SAP S4 HANA

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Costing & BOM Management - Prepare, review, and maintain standard cost sheets in SAP S/4HANA for capital equipment

- Perform new product costing in coordination with Engineering & Sales (tenders, product launches, new markets)

- Validate and maintain BOMs and routings for accurate cost structures

- Inventory & WIP Valuation - Monitor and value RM, WIP, and FG using SAP inventory modules

- Reconcile physical stock with system records and analyze variances

- Variance Analysis - Conduct monthly variance analysis (material, labor, overhead - price, usage, efficiency & absorption)

- Provide root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions

- VAVE & Cost Reduction - Drive Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives

- Partner with Procurement & Engineering on alternate sourcing and cost-efficient design

- Budgeting & Forecasting - Support annual budgets and rolling forecasts for production costs

- Assist in CAPEX cost estimation and cost-benefit analysis

- Compliance & Reporting - Ensure compliance with Cost Audit & Cost Accounting Standards

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management and auditors

- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales

- Support pricing decisions through cost and profitability analysis
