Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape and a passion for leading complex, technical projects? CORTEX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in a P4 grade.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery, strong technical acumen in the OSS domain, and the ability to drive innovation through automation and AI/ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Ownership:
- Take full end-to-end ownership of project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring all project milestones, deadlines, and quality standards are met within scope and budget.
- Lead project planning sessions, define project schedules, and create comprehensive project plans that effectively track progress and manage dependencies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, escalating as needed and implementing effective contingency plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
Technical Leadership:
- Utilize hands-on experience in OSS (Operations Support Systems) application maintenance to guide and support the technical team.
- Provide strong technical management and oversight for the development and delivery of cutting-edge automation solutions.
- Drive the implementation of solutions using advanced technologies such as AI/ML, GenAI, Selenium, and various scripting languages.
- Quickly analyze and understand complex customer pain points and translate them into well-defined, actionable technical solutions and project requirements.
People & Process Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional project team to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement and continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.
- Manage resource allocation and workload to ensure optimal team productivity and project success.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, internal technical teams, and senior leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure transparency and alignment on project goals and progress.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that all solutions directly address client needs and provide significant business value.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience: A minimum of 9 to 15 years of relevant professional experience, with a significant focus on project management within the telecom domain.
- Technical Acumen: Proven, hands-on experience with OSS systems and a strong track record of successful automation implementations.
- Leadership: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- Agility: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive results effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Superior organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring all project aspects are meticulously managed.
Additional Requirements
Location: Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Chennai.
Interview Availability: Must be available for face-to-face interviews.
Stability: Candidates with frequent job changes will not be considered.
