Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Project Head / Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end construction project operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, and executing multiple projects, ensuring timely completion with high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Review and approve project designs, technical drawings, and construction documentation.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare, monitor, and control overall project budgets.
- Approve and track project expenses and purchase orders.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential financial risks.
Team and Stakeholder Management:
- Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination across all project participants.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify potential risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Resolve technical or site-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local laws, building codes, and safety standards.
- Maintain strict quality control across all project stages.
- Conduct periodic site inspections to review progress and workmanship.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track overall project progress and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
- Adjust schedules and manpower as required to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
Project Closure:
- Ensure the successful handover of completed projects to clients.
- Conduct final inspections, resolve deficiencies, and close documentation.
- Perform post-project analysis for future improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or B in Civil Engineering (Masters degree preferred).
- 15-20 years of experience in project management within construction, infrastructure, or real estate industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven record of managing large-scale commercial or residential projects independently.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
