Project Head - Chemical Manufacturing

About the Role:

One of our leading Chemical Manufacturing clients is looking for a Project Head to lead greenfield project execution and develop their manufacturing footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deliver projects including conceptual, basic engineering, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, and execution on-time and within budget.

- Provide direction, coordination, and implementation of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy.

- Define project scope, finalize deliverables, and identify suitable vendors/contractors.

- Manage project life cycle phases including requirements, alternative analysis, engineering, design, and implementation.

- Drive process improvement strategy and ensure maximum efficiency in operations.

- Monitor daily process activities, tune equipment to reduce downtime, and deploy innovative techniques to increase productivity.

Requirements:

- B.Tech - Chemical qualification.

- Proven experience in project management in the chemicals industry.

- Experience in modernization of plants and process engineering.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to provide ROI and business matrices.

- Excellent technical knowledge of chemical industry machinery and processes.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead strategic business initiatives.

- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and navigate in a start-up mode.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
