Role Overview

Sterling Oil & Gas is seeking an accomplished Project Finance Controller with 25-30 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Fertilizers, Petrochemical, or Metals & Mining sectors. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record in financial control, cost management, and project finance oversight for large, complex industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial planning, monitoring, and control across mega projects.

- Manage budgeting, cost control, and forecasting to ensure financial discipline.

- Oversee project financing, cash flow management, and fund allocation.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate governance, and audit standards.

- Partner with project leadership on investment analysis & risk mitigation.

- Drive MIS reporting, variance analysis, and financial dashboards.

- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.

- Build and mentor a strong finance and project accounts team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 25-30 years' experience in Project Finance / Financial Control.

- Domain expertise in Oil & Gas, Power, Fertilizers, Petrochemical, or Metals & Mining.

- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, capital structuring, and project funding.

- Hands-on experience in multi-billion-dollar projects.

- Excellent stakeholder, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
