Project Director - Technical Account Manager

Job Title: Project Director (TAM) - PSU Bank

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director / Technical Account Manager to lead delivery, governance, and client engagement for a major strategic PSU banking account. The ideal candidate brings strong domain expertise in Banking & Financial Services, combined with deep technical understanding across Digital Solutions or AI.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end delivery management, ensuring seamless execution of projects and adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

- Lead account governance, including steering committee meetings, stakeholder management, and periodic performance reviews.

- Act as the primary technical and strategic advisor to the client, deeply understanding their ecosystem, challenges, and priorities.

- Drive solutioning, roadmap discussions, and continuous value delivery in collaboration with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams.

- Strengthen client relationships to ensure long-term retention, growth, and operational excellence.

- Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth coordination across technology, delivery, and business units.

- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to deliver enhanced outcomes for the client.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 12+ years of overall experience, including 3-5 years in Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, or client-facing consulting leadership roles.

- Strong domain expertise in Banking/Financial Services, with experience working with PSU or large enterprise banking clients preferred.

Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following:

Digital Transformation Solutions

AI/ML-driven solutions

Enterprise platforms, cloud, or integration ecosystems

Proven ability to lead large-scale delivery programs and govern complex technology engagements.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

Ability to work in high-stakes, fast-paced environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
