Role Summary:
Serves as the foundation of the team's delivery capability. Manages automation and transformation projects from intake through implementation, combining the functions of project manager, business analyst, and process engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive automation projects through initiation, design, build, test, and adoption phases.
- Gather requirements and convert them into actionable business and technical specifications.
- Map and re-engineer existing processes for simplification and automation.
- Maintain the automation intake log, ensuring clear prioritization and documentation.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Provide weekly status updates and dashboards to the Oversight Committee.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage deployment readiness.
Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or transformation roles in Finance Functions such as AP, AR, GL, R2R, P2P, OTC, Cash Application etc.
- Industry background: Financial Services or BPO process transformation experience required.
- Proven ability to document and optimize financial workflows (invoice automation, reconciliations, close processes, etc.).
- Familiarity with RPA and workflow tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, ADO, Monday.com, Jira).
- Knowledge of data integration and API concepts.
- Exceptional process-mapping, stakeholder engagement, and change-management skills.
- Strong analytical ability to translate complex business needs into structured technical plans.
