Production Head - Rugs - Export House

Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Production Head - Rugs to lead and manage end-to-end production operations for a reputed export house. The role requires deep expertise in rug manufacturing processes, production planning, resource optimization, quality compliance, and coordination across departments to ensure timely delivery, superior quality, and cost efficiency for international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules aligned with order forecasts, export timelines, and capacity planning

- Balance loom capacity, manpower, and material availability to meet delivery commitments

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and take corrective actions when required

Manufacturing Operations Management:

- Oversee weaving, dyeing, finishing, washing, trimming, and packing operations

- Ensure smooth workflow across all stages of rug production

- Resolve production bottlenecks and ensure uninterrupted operations

Resource & Manpower Management:

- Efficiently allocate raw materials, machinery, and manpower to maximize productivity

- Manage workforce planning, skill deployment, and shift scheduling

- Lead and motivate production supervisors, floor managers, and team leaders

Inventory & Material Control:

- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking

- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of yarn, dyes, chemicals, and accessories

- Reduce material wastage and improve yield

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, buyer specifications, and export norms

- Implement and monitor quality checks at every production stage

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, social compliance, safety standards, and company policies

- Coordinate with QC teams to address quality issues and corrective actions
