Responsibilities :   - Lead & manage Production Team to ensure team deliverables are met in timely & efficient manner. Team Deliverables include Meeting Delivery Schedules, On Time Production, WIP Management, Defect Free Production, Production Efficiencies w.r.t. Inputs, Safety etc.   - Set Continuous Improvement targets & implement projects/ actions to achieve the same. Ensure a culture of Continuous Improvement & speedy Problem Solving with proper root causing   - Ensuring effective utilization of man, machine and material.   - Ensure adequacy of departmental processes to ensure timely meeting of team deliverables, including continuous improvement of the processes based on PDCA and potential failure mode analyses   - Ensure Daily Work Management practices & systems process adherence on shopfloor & in the department   - Ensure adequacy of skill level in the department to meet its deliverables, including training & Development as needed   - Ensure high team motivation & morale levels   - People Development activities including Coaching & Mentoring   - Provision of adequate resources to ensure smooth team functioning   - Advance Capacity planning for capital investments.   - Conduct of Daily meetings, reporting to Management as needed   Key Result areas include :   - Ensure Team Deliverables: On time Delivery, No Customer Complaints, Internal Rejections & Reworks within targets, No Safety incidents, Manufacturing Efficiency / OEE Targets, Continuous Improvement Targets, WIP / Operating Cash Flow levels   - Resource Adequacy for effective & efficient team performance   - Ensure a Winning Culture by instilling:   - Process Adherence and Systemic Working   - Proper Root Causing & Problem Solving   - Continuous Improvement   - Speedy Actioning   - Data based approach   - Team Work   - Structured People Development   Preferred Candidates :   - 15 years experience. Of which appx. 10 years in operating level Manufacturing and appx. 3 years in senior management role. Preferred Automotive Industry / TS 16949 environment/ Multi-national. Demonstrated ability to lead team by Plan & Review. Preference for candidates who have been through shopfloor culture change / development experience or demonstrated improvement achievements.   - Candidates proficient in the local language (Tamil) to speak and are willing to relocate to Coimbatore alone apply.
