As we scale our transaction processing engines, merchant dashboards, and internal financial ledgers, we are looking for a high-agency Product Manager to own core product verticals and drive our next phase of growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking an analytical, execution-focused Product Manager who understands the nuances of fintech, payment gateways, and transactional data flows. In this role, you will own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch - building checkout optimization flows, merchant onboarding portals, and robust ledger/reconciliation systems.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, design, compliance, and business development out of our Bangalore office to deliver products that are secure, highly scalable, and developer-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap:

- Define and execute the product roadmap for payment processing engines, transaction routing, ledger management, and merchant tools.

2. Feature Execution:

- Write comprehensive PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), user stories, and acceptance criteria; partner closely with backend (Java/Node) and frontend engineering teams in a collaborative office environment.

3. Cross-Functional Ownership:

- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure all payment features adhere to PCI-DSS, local regulations, and global standards.

4. Metrics & Optimization:

- Monitor core product metrics (conversion rates, latency, transaction success rates, drop-off points) and run data-driven experiments to optimize performance.

5. Customer & Market Discovery:

- Engage directly with enterprise merchants, internal operations, and sales teams to uncover friction points and translate customer needs into product capabilities.

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

- Professional Experience: 4 to 8 years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years building products in fintech, payments, neo-banking, or high-scale SaaS.

- Domain Fluency: Deep understanding of payment gateways, transaction lifecycles, ledger accounting, payment orchestration, or API-first products.

- Technical Acumen: Ability to converse fluently with engineers on microservices architecture, REST APIs, database design, and asynchronous event processing.

- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong command over product analytics, funnel drop-off analysis, and SQL/metric tracking tools.
