Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in procurement within the EPC / construction industry

Work Type: In-office, 5 days a week (site travel required as and when needed)

Job Description

About the Role:

The Procurement Head will lead and manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities for EPC and construction projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and services across multiple project sites.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals, budgets, and timelines.

2. Lead annual and project-specific procurement planning and forecasting.

3. Manage the complete procurement lifecycle including vendor sourcing, techno-commercial, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and order placement.

4. Handle procurement for civil, electrical, mechanical, logistics, and service contracts

5. Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Site teams to support execution schedules.

6. Identify, evaluate, empanel, and manage suppliers and subcontractors

7. Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial and contractual risks

8. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements

9. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and support audits

10. Prepare procurement reports, budgets, savings analysis, and risk assessments for senior management

Required Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, procurement practices, and construction supply chains

2. Excellent negotiation, contract management, and commercial acumen

3. Ability to analyze market trends, cost structures, and supplier performance

4. Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement tools, and MS Office.
