Role Overview:

We are looking for a high-performing - Principal Consultant- to lead and grow our - Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences practice- . This is a senior, revenue-generating role responsible for client acquisition, mandate execution, and team leadership within the pharma ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings strong industry networks across pharma, biotech, CDMO, medical devices, and healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Practice Growth:

- Drive new client acquisition across pharma, biotech, life sciences and healthcare.

- Build long-term CXO and HR leadership relationships.

- Develop and execute practice growth strategy.

- Own revenue targets and P&L for the pharma vertical.

2. Executive Search Delivery:

- Lead end-to-end execution of retained and contingent search mandates.

- Hire leadership roles across:

- Commercial (Sales, Marketing, Business Unit Heads)

- Manufacturing & Supply Chain

- R&D / Clinical / Regulatory

- Medical Affairs

- Corporate functions

- Conduct high-quality candidate assessments and advisory conversations.

- Ensure superior client and candidate experience.

3. Market Intelligence & Advisory:

- Provide compensation benchmarking and talent mapping.

- Advise clients on leadership structuring and succession planning.

- Build strong pharma talent pipelines.

4. Team Leadership:

- Mentor Consultants and Associates.

- Drive delivery excellence and search governance.

- Contribute to brand building of Native Executive Search in the pharma ecosystem.

Candidate Profile:

- 8-15 years of experience in executive search / leadership hiring.

- Strong exposure to Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Life Sciences recruitment.

- Demonstrated revenue generation and client acquisition track record.

- Established CXO / HR network in pharma companies.

- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with practice-building ambition.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in a reputed executive search firm.

- Exposure to retained search mandates.

- Strong understanding of Indian and global pharma talent markets.
