Position: President - Finance

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Role Overview:

The President - Finance will be responsible for providing Strategic Financial leadership across the Group's Steel, Alumina, Mining, and Food divisions.

- The role will focus heavily on Fund Arrangement, Banking relationships, Debt structuring, Working capital management, and coordination with Banks and Financial institutions for both short-term and long-term funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Arrangement & Capital Structuring (Critical):

- Lead Fund raising activities including term loans, working capital limits, project finance, and structured debt.

- Prepare and present ABDs (Appraisal / Approval / Bank Documents), CMA data, information memorandums, and lender presentations.

- Coordinate with consortium banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions for sanctions, renewals, enhancements, and restructuring.

- Manage end-to-end Loan documentation, covenants, compliance, and disbursements.

2. Banking Relationships & Treasury Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Banks, financial institutions, rating agencies, and lenders.

- Oversee cash flow planning, fund utilization, and working capital optimization.

- Monitor interest costs, optimize borrowing mix, and manage treasury risks.

3. Financial Strategy & Governance:

- Provide strategic financial inputs to the Board and senior management.

- Support expansion projects, Greenfield & Brownfield investments and M&A initiatives.

4. Budgeting, MIS & Performance Monitoring:

- Lead group-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Review division-wise and plant-wise MIS, variance analysis, and financial performance.

5. Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Liaison:

- Oversee compliance with Companies Act, Banking covenants, RBI guidelines, Mining regulations, GST & Income Tax laws.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, lenders' auditors, and consultants.

- Ensure timely submission of financial data and compliance reports to banks and institutions.

Qualification & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Preferred

- 25 years of post-qualification experience in Finance leadership roles

- Mandatory exposure to Steel / Alumina / Mining / Food Processing / Heavy Manufacturing.

- Proven track record in Fund arrangement, Project finance, ABDs, consortium banking, and institutional funding.

- Experience in multi-plant, multi-division manufacturing groups.
