About your Role: In this role, you will lead planning and central operations of the plant and warehouses. You should have experience in handling demand planning, procurement, purchase, delivery and dispatch. Your Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way - Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices - Managing Inventory levels (forecasting, planning and replenishment) to minimize risks while maximizing inventory turns. Inventory control by managing days of supply at all warehouses and distribution centres - Oversee basic operations such as receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance of the products - Optimise capacity planning and be responsible for manufacturing operations. - Work closely with Branch Operations Managers in preparing weekly orders - Ensure Cities are doing weekly cycle count and maintain the stock expiry - Control on dump city wise and have a plan for near expiry products - Communicate regularly with sales team and Operations team - Liaise with Transport team and ensuring timely receiving of the stock - Drive automation/digitization of SCM with adoption of simple tools across the value chain Key Competencies: - Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field - 5-7 plus years of experience in supply chain management, preferably operations, warehouse, purchasing leadership especially in the F&B industry - Has worked on Digital supply chain transformation. - Inventory management and optimization. - Last mile distribution and automation. - Forecasting and supply planning - Logistic cost recommendation tool and 3PL allocation. - Strong negotiation and communication skills to propel the organization to decision and action while building lasting relationships with people and quickly.
