Role Overview:

The General Manager Finance will oversee all financial operations of Pragati Infra Private Limited, ensuring the company's financial health and stability. This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management. The General Manager Finance will work closely with the senior management team, project managers, and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making, ultimately contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects and the company's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring sustainable financial performance.

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial position to senior management and stakeholders.

- Manage the budgeting process, ensuring that budgets are realistic, aligned with strategic goals, and effectively monitored.

- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements, mitigating financial risks.

- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.

- Oversee cost accounting activities, ensuring accurate cost allocation and project profitability analysis.

- Monitor cash flow and working capital, optimizing resource utilization and ensuring sufficient liquidity.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis, enabling effective resource allocation and strategic decision-making.

- Proven ability to manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, facilitating accurate cost allocation and project profitability analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CA preferred.
