Policy Development & Review:
- Develop and review credit policies and processes for the Mortgage business.
- Reviewing and developing acquisition and portfolio management policies to ensure the portfolio grows within the bank's specified risk appetite.
- Risk Monitoring: Continuously monitoring risk across the business loans portfolio and implementing necessary controls.
- Compliance: Ensuring all policies and procedures adhere to national and local financial laws and internal audit standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Interacting and coordinating with various control functions and stakeholders, including business risk, product, audit, analytics, operations, and technology teams, for effective project and process delivery.
- Process Improvement: Recommending strategies and process improvements to add value to the team and clients and managing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes.
- Reporting: Preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR).
