Compensation: CTC: 28,00,000 30,00,000 per annum

About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Vice President Operations to lead and strengthen the organization's end-to-end operational excellence across all business locations. The incumbent will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, optimizing supply chain and service operations, ensuring profitability, implementing standardized processes, and building a high-performance operations culture. The role requires strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities to enhance customer satisfaction, improve service quality, reduce operational costs, and support business scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across all hubs and business units.
- Ensure seamless execution of operational activities while maintaining service quality and efficiency.
- Drive operational performance through effective planning, monitoring, and execution.
- Develop operational strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement coordination, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Ensure optimum stock availability across hubs to meet market demand without excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory movement, replenishment planning, and stock accuracy.
- Improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.
Service Operations:
- Ensure timely completion of service requests within defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Improve customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor service KPIs and implement corrective actions wherever required.
- Establish service excellence standards across all operational locations.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Design, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all operational functions.
- Ensure SOP compliance through regular audits and process reviews.
- Standardize workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead Process Excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational improvement methodologies.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement sustainable improvements.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Cost Management:
- Conduct detailed operational cost analysis across all functions.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality and customer experience.
- Develop and execute cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor operational budgets and improve overall cost efficiency.
Profit & Loss Management:
- Own and manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for all operational hubs.
- Monitor operational profitability and implement strategies to improve margins.
- Review financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Finance for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional and hub operations teams.
- Build a high-performance culture driven by accountability and ownership.
- Establish KPIs and performance review mechanisms.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between Operations, Sales, Finance, Service, and Supply Chain teams.
Performance Monitoring:
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for operational performance.
- Monitor key operational metrics including Service TAT, Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Inventory Accuracy, Stock Availability, Operational Cost, Hub Profitability, Process Compliance, and Productivity Metrics.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- MBA in Operations Management from a recognized institution (Mandatory).
- 810 years of experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Service Operations, or Process Excellence.
- Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing multi-location operations.
- Additional certifications in Lean Management, Supply Chain Management, or Process Excellence will be an advantage.
- Experience in the EV, automotive, battery, logistics, manufacturing, or technology-driven operations industry is preferred.
