
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across battery manufacturing, R&D, engineering, plant operations, and supply chain.
- Build sourcing pipelines for niche positions such as electrochemists, lithium-ion specialists, quality engineers, and gigafactory operations talent.
- Develop competitor mapping strategies to attract candidates from leading battery/EV companies.
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs in line with growth plans and industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with labor, safety, and environmental norms in all hiring practices.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as a preferred destination for battery/energy professionals.
Must-Have Requirements
- 4-8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 1-2 years in the battery/EV/energy storage industry.
- Proven track record in technical and manufacturing recruitment.
- Understanding of battery sector roles (e.g., lead-acid, lithium-ion, solid-state, R&D labs, gigafactories).
- Strong sourcing knowledge (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, industry-specific portals, competitor mapping).
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Prior recruitment experience in EV, renewable energy, or chemical industries.
- Exposure to global talent acquisition (e.g., hiring expatriates or working with international teams).
- Experience supporting greenfield projects or plant expansions.
