About the Role :

A leading multinational manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Plant HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function at its manufacturing facility in Sanand. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end plant HR operations, workforce engagement, industrial relations, compliance, and talent management while partnering closely with plant leadership to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the HR function for the manufacturing plant and manage a team of 5+ HR professionals.

- Drive manpower planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce deployment.

- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and workforce engagement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, standing orders, and company policies.

- Partner with plant leadership on productivity improvement, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.

- Drive performance management, capability building, and employee development programs.

- Support compensation reviews, rewards & recognition, and employee retention initiatives.

- Manage contract labour compliance, vendor management, and industrial relations matters.

- Facilitate HR analytics, reporting, audits, and governance requirements.

- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values and business goals.

Desired Profile :

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution.

- 10 - 15 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments.

- Proven experience in Plant HR, Factory HR, Industrial Relations, and Labour Law Compliance.

- Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, factory operations, workforce management, and employee relations.

- Experience leading HR teams and partnering with plant leadership.

- Exposure to SAP HR, SuccessFactors, or other HRIS platforms would be advantageous.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Industry Background :

- Manufacturing, Automotive, Auto Components, Engineering, Industrial Products, Chemicals, Consumer Goods, Metals, Electronics or Process Industries.
