Role Overview:
Lead the Plant HR function for the manufacturing facilities, acting as a senior HR leader embedded within operations. The incumbent will partner closely with plant leadership to drive workforce stability, retention, engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end plant HR operations across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership and senior business stakeholders.
- Drive retention strategies, employee engagement, and leadership connect at the plant level.
- Oversee payroll, statutory compliance, and labor law adherence with zero non-compliance.
- Manage workforce discipline and employee relations in a non-unionized environment.
- Support manpower planning, hiring, and HR setup for the upcoming greenfield plant.
- Strengthening HR processes in line with listed company governance requirements.
- Conduct regular plant presence to ensure HR effectiveness and workforce productivity.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 12+ years of HR experience with deep exposure to plant / manufacturing HR.
- Industry preference: Automotive, Auto Components, Engineering, Forgings, OEM-facing manufacturing.
- Prior experience as a Plant HR Head or Senior Plant HR Leader in large plants.
- Exposure to automotive clients, OEMs, and engineering-led environments.
- Strong capability in retention, engagement, compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Preference for candidates from or familiar with the Punjab region.
- Comfortable operating in a low-touch corporate, high-autonomy plant environment.
