Our client is part of a diversified industrial group operating in the paper recycling and paper manufacturing sector. The facility in Madagascar produces kraft paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, copybooks, and related paper products using recycled raw material. The plant is in a phase of capacity expansion and operational scale-up, requiring a seasoned manufacturing leader to head end-to-end plant operations.
Role Summary:
The Plant Head will have complete responsibility for pulp processing through finished paper manufacturing, including production, quality, maintenance, utilities, safety, and manpower management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical exposure to pulp preparation, paper machines, and downstream paper conversion processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end plant operations covering pulp preparation, stock preparation, paper machine operations, finishing, and dispatch
- Drive production planning aligned with sales forecasts, raw material availability, and capacity utilization
